THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD
1. Research a topic.
2. Formulate a question.
3. Form a hypothesis/prediction.
4. Design your experiment by planning the procedure that you will follow.
5. Record and analyze your data by using charts, tables, written explanations, pictures, or drawings of your results.
6. Write a conclusion from what you observed or learned.
Ensure that every step is displayed on your board. A common error is the omission of the conclusion. Read over the judging criteria to see how your display can lose points when all steps are not followed.
